Does anyone know if the space under the passengers seat is on cars that have not received the NAV Package from factory.

I am considering placing a car computer in this space, however it would seam based on some messages here that this space is only manufactured if you order the unit from factory WITH the NAV package?

Is this true?

There is a bit space under both seats filled with a piece of polystyrene

The space is there, whether the car has nav or not. My non-nav-equipped Cooper has an amp placed under each seat.

I have a new MCS convertible, it looks like I have a HK amp under the driver deat and a Sat Navv DVD unit under the passenger seat.
