how to tell if you are wave or boost

hi all

i know this is an oldie
I found it before but cant now

How do I tell if my radio is wave or boost

Look on Mikethemini's website. There's pics there. But it's really simple (this is deffo for '05 models anyway). If your tape deck section has a Dolby logo on it, and your display is split in two then you're Boost. If you're unfortunate (use term loosly as you will see) to have a spanking company car like me. I got the Wave which has one long display and the tape takes up it's own slot. Another distinguishing feature, the volume, trebble cleff and mode button are vertically in line with a Boost, and slightly diagonal with a wave.

Hope you did better than me! (I only sussed this out yesterday so now looking to buy a decent head unit, maybe off Mike as he's an offer on a recent "group buy" post)

Boost HUs with cassette have a motorised cassette ejection system........Wave does not.

As above any "Dolby" symbols showing on the front panel will also identifiy the unit as a Boost.
