Having bit of a dilemma, is it worth getting the lce link even though the face lift CD player can play mp3’s?

Has anybody with a face lift mini fitted an ice link?

Opinions and comments appreciated.

I would say that it is worth getting an ipod. Im biased though !
When I first got my mini, the first thing I changed was the cd headunit, because it always skipped and I had a alpine 9812rb from my previous car that can play mp3s and doesnt skip. Im not sure how much the new mp3 will skip. Also the audio processing is quite poor on stock headunits, as when you replace them the speakers sound a lot better.

My main reason for getting an ipod, is that my cd collection has grown, and I find that I am changing cds quite often now. I can also use the ipod when I am not in the car and relax outside where I dont have a stereo with me. I can carry my whole collection with me and music to suit different friends tastes. There are other reasons which I wont go into, go and have a look at one in a shop and have a little demonstration, you will find out quickly if you like them or not.
