They are expensive ... but they're worth the money

Here's one of Doug's "winged" designs:

I have a whalen, and it simply rocks. It feels so much better than the original, and it looks great too.

i agree, they are worth their money
if i have to choose again i would still buy 1, maybe with different patterns (actually, ideal would be having more than 1, but i can't afford it )

I have just bought two, and am awaiting my parents to bring them back from america. I had a phone call last night saying that they had arrived. I asked whether my dad had had a little peek at one, and he said he had.

The comment that was made was, "they are stunning, they are really heavy too and excellently made".

Now I just cant wait to get my hands on it !

Doug will ship to UK - beware of customs charges.
I think the cost is about $160 with the design and shipping, but check with Doug to be sure - good price with the poor dollar currency these days!

When an item is sold and shipped to another country, the shipper is required to declare the value and on arrival in the receivers country the local customs people might decide to levy a tax on it - because otherwise they are missing out on VAT
It won't always happen, but it is not under the control of the shipper - except in as much as declaring the value ...

Like everyone else said, they are worth every penny. I hesitated to order one but I kept hearing great things so I went for it. I LOVE my Whalen.
