Bought the cable yesterday from Mini Crowfoot (calgary) for $80.00 CDN and installed it today in 10 minutes thanks to the info in the forums. The dealer was telling me to remove the console but forget about that, i removed the knee bolster under the steering wheel and the cable popped on my second try. Spent the next 9 minutes dressing the cable in and around the aftermarket console shelf. Works like a charm. BTW its a 2004 MC

The install was very easy. It took me less than 10 minutes to get the job done too.
