hi do anyone know how to remove the door lock thingy? do i just pull it out or? turn it or.... help help pls

is it the ouside handle?
the lock pin?
the inside handle?

Now I know what it would be like if my mother was posting questions on MINI2

first you twist the top 276 degrees counterclockwise, then push the thingmabob in precisely 3.456892mm no more no less, then insert the key turning 231 times until the wotsit releases from the majig then simply give it a yank and its free

If it's the lock button, you have to remove the door panel and unclip the rod it's attached to from the lock. I believe the plastic button is glued to the rod. Careful with the clip, it's easy to break.

is the lock pin

coz i find a shop tat sell a diamond lock pin (fakes one of course) and i was planning to install it. but i'm not sure how to get the lock pin thing out..

Good to know that other people don't know the official name for it. Mine just malfunctioned, but I didn't know how to ask for help if I dont even know what its called.
