Hi All,

A search reveals lots about upgrading from wave to boost or boost to other manufacturer unit.
However I have an 03 S with a boost Cassette HU (+cd changer) AND HK
Can I upgrade (ie just slot in a std boost CD)??

I had planned to buy a Boost CD off mini_magic from the forum , but he thought that because I have HK its not possible...
Isn't Boost CD / Boost CD+HK just the same HU but with an external amp for HK spec???

My plan is to buy an Icelink and a second hand Boost CD unit to retain some ability to play normal CD's when the ipods out of the car.

Please confirm as its currently stopping me bidding for boost CD units on ebay.
My current unit (cassette) has the large vol knob, but I was looking at the pre05 Boost CD (small vol knob) because they are much more readily available.
