I had an iPod Interface fitted into my 04 Cooper at Christmas. Since then I've been able to get my iPod Photo to work about five times with it while an iPod Mini will work pretty well with it. Has anyone else had any problems with the Photo model; the main suggestion is that the firmware is slightly different so it's not quite compatible with it but I'm not so sure. I figure the iPod connector at the bottom of the machine is standard so it should work with any of them.

Some people have also suggested that since the documentation says it'll only work with 3G iPods but I figure that when it was released the 4G/Photo was still in development and therefore secret. I can't imagine Apple's engineers would have stopped the Interface working?

Anyone got any success stories as I'm really unsure how to fix it.
