Hi,

I was wondering if there is anybody out there who would prefer to have the Alloy Patina dash kit (5-piece from an '04 MCS) instead of the Silver or Anthracite dash kit.

I would love to have either the Silver or the Anthracite instead of the Allow Patina.

If anyone is interested in swapping, please let me know. Thanks.

I'll get in this line! The wife (artist) likes the alloy patina, but I think anthracite is the dog's danglies! I'm keeping my eye out for a wrecked Cooper with anthracite to scavenge. FWIW, you can get all the dash pieces new from Classic MINI for about $332. The doors are a bit pricier at $748

When I saw the mail (indicating a response) I thought I had hit the jackpot but ALAS! I have only found another companion for our now shared misery!

The dog's danglies, eh? I've got "The Dog's B OLLOCKS" on my rear windshield and have to explain it every time. It's not worth spending $332 to buy the dash pieces. If I was going to spend money on it, I think I'd rather go for the $1200 Carbon Fiber dash kit! But that kit is just way too much....

Eric, thanks for sharing the info re: Classic. (I, at least, am grateful for that info.)

Good to know the going rate, in case I get tired of my silver dash.
Do you know if they'll sell body-coloured dashes to regular Cooper owners (not just S owners?) 'Course now that I decided on BEP instead of HB...guess that's less
important to know.

Although...sometimes, I do wonder if Cool Blue might work on a BEP? Sometimes it looks lavender to me.

You can order a new dash kit from your dealer. I think the body colored dashes only come in a few colors, though.....What is BEP?

Black Eye Purple outside of the US = Purple Haze in the US
