Anyone receive the New 05 Armrest Factory Installed?

Just wondering if anyone has actually received the new new Mini 05 Armrest - not the Mini fini one, but the new one listed on Motoringfile.

Reason I ask is my mini - fingers crossed - is on the Madame Butterfly leaving today for the US - I can't contain myself.

Anyhow - I ordered the new new armrest and I'm sure hoping it actually got installed - the car was just finished last week. I would hate to get my hopes up for my new car and find out when it comes in that it's missing or not really released yet.

I know it seems minor - but I've waited for 2 years to order and now that it's coming I want it all just the way I want it. I had a New Beetle up to now and I've always been envious of certain improvements since I didn't get to order it - it was take it or leave it time and be glad to pay sticker.

Thanks,

Jeff Ulrich

I tried to order the Arm rest as a Option but it wouldn't let the dealer (uk)
Would of had to buy the Blue tooth option which I don't need.

In the states it's a totally different armrest, we don't get one that's phone ready or the like...

interceptor are you getting a convertible? Saw one delivered about a week and a half ago and it didn't have the armrest, but I'm not sure what options he had...

Thanks,

I just received my MCS with the factory installed armrest. I ordered back in Feb. just after the Motoringfile article and had it added as a factory install - even says factory installed on the official window sticker.

I couldn't imagine not having one.

I can't believe no one will take a pix of their new factory armrest. I even searched the galleries and there's nothing.

Please, please?

We may both end up miniless as the WW site shows the boat left NY but no cars were unloaded (it's the weekend so no updates is the hopeful reason).

I have just bought the centre arm rest for my Jan 05 MOD from the Dealer and it is different to those shown on here. I fitted it within 10 minutes. All you have to do is unscrew two of the rear seat rail bolts and slide the metal brackets under the rail, line up the holes and refix to bolts. Job done. I will take some pics tomorrow and try and post them on here late Friday.

I've just taken this part number off the box the arm rest was supplied in: 52 12 0 154 307.

I picked up my Dark Silver Mini Cooper S Convertible yesterday (yes on my birthday....awesome birthday!) The salesperson (Mini advisor) said she had not seen the armrest in any of the vehicles before mine. I did not order it specifically, but it probably came with one of the packages. My Mini came with Premium, Sport & Cold weather Pkgs. I did not special order, as I found it in one day and took what they had. It is AWESOME!!!! They have others in stock if anyone needs an immediate fix!!! The whole process took less than one week.
