Question Simple ICE question - need simple answer for simple guy...

Right, ordering my 2005 MCS today and need to know the following...

I want CD, Radio and Ipod ability in my MCS.

Do I need to order the MINI CD and Radio Boost thingy or is there a cheaper/better way I should do it?

I have seen the ICE+ thing which I think adds the iPod capability - just not sure which bits I need to order direct from factory and which I can do without?

Hope you can all steer me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance - Ben

Hi, I've just ordered an MCS and wanted the same, CD, radio and ipod
I went for the Boost and the BMW ipod dealer fit (£200) which trails alead to the glove box.
Bit concerned about freezing my ipod whilst chilling the 'veuve clicquot' though!
Theres another thread suggesting that the dealer fit ipod is not good value for money and that there is a better alternative. I like the idea of having the ipod locked away out of sight so i dont have to keep hiding it.

My dealer tells me the boost display does reveal some track info from the ipod but i get the impression from the above thread that this aint so. (i might quote him on this in the future though!)
Good luck
My dilemma is colour, pretty fundamental, really. I simply cannot make my mind up

Forgive my ignorance but is that £200 for the Radio boost and Ipod link? Or is it on top of the CD/Radio cost?

200 for the ipod link on it's own, on top of the radio boost.. Worth it though..
