I want to do this as well. The buttons are available seperately but it is unclear if there is anything to wire them to and whether they can be enabled.

Do you know the price of the buttons??? I will guess that you have to buy the whole panel around the volume control????

When I was at the dealer this week, I asked about the buttons and was told that those buttons and the Bluetooth wiring (pre-wiring) were standard now for 2005's. Don't know if that's true or not, but....

It looks like the new MFSW comes with buttons whether or not the bluetooth install is specified or not. I have previously posted the part number of the new buttons (can't remenber now) which consists of the gray plate along with the volume/track control and a short length of wiring which looks like it plugs into a connector within the wheel. I almost bought one, if I lived closer to Liverpool I would take it to mikey the mini to see if he could get it to work. Officially the part number is only compatible with MFSW from 01/05 on. This is certainly on my wish list along with remote closing roof.
