Pure Silver Kenwood CD Changer Install

I have just bought a Mini Cooper Convetable and I want to install a Kenwood KDC-467 CD changer. I have got the standard WAVE cassette bulkhead unit.

After a bit of seaching around I have managed to loacte the two cables in the boot for the changer, on the right hand side near the seatbelt holder, one has a square 3 pin connector and one has a square 6 pin connector. Can someone confirm that these are the correct cables?

I have just ordered a Connects2 ABMK005 adaptor, will this work for a Mini? Will I need anything else to make it work?

Cheers Matt

Matt,
Welcome to the site. The cables you've described sound like CD prep cables.
Who did you order your adaptor from?
The best person and place for any mini audio stuff is Mike at www.newministuff.com.
He's a regular contributor to the forums and is THE bloke to buy your stuff from. His customer service is outstanding and prices are very good. His advice is second to none.
If he doesn't know how to do it, it can't be done!!

Thank you all for your help, I ordered the part from thebassbin, the part is made by connects2. I'm just waiting for the disappointment when it turns up and it doesn't work! I have got the Kenwood Bus cable, luckily I remembered to take that out of my old car.

Right, going to check out newministuff, mike I'm coming to pester you!

Cheers Matt
