Offline | Tomtom Go Mount Hi everyone. I've got a question about mounting a Tomtom Go (I'm thinking about buying one). Looking at the gallery on the Tomtom website, I see they they've used a Mini in their photos and have demonstrated 2 different ways of mounting it - one on the windscreen, and the other shows it mounted by one of the vents next to the speedo. How have they mounted it like that? I have done a search on here and couldn't see any mention of it (apologies if it has been posted and I've missed it). I saw a few threads with photos of it mounted on the windscreen in the corner by the driver's door. That looks fine and it's in a good position to see when driving, but having it by the speedo would mean the mount wouldn't be as visible to anyone walking past my MC. I can't tell from the picture if it's clipped onto the vent or if it requires more work. If it clips on, which is probably not the case because of the shape of the vents, I'd be happy. If not, I'll probably just opt for the windscreen method ![]() Thanks, Dave |

Offline | www.brodit.com They do some excelent mounting clips. You need a MINI one, at a position of your choice, and the Tomtom Go one. The MINI one clips onto one of the rails either side of the radio. The Tomtom Go clip consists of one half of the hinge of the mount that comes with the Tomtom Go. You take screw out of the middle of the hinge and use the back half from bordit. |

Offline | I have tried mounting my Tomtom on the vents using the above kit but it does not work as the vents are round. I use the extended windscreen mount but it vibrates a lot. If anyone out there could fabricate a mount for the vent........................ |
