I got my new psp the other day and seeing as this thing will play games, music, video and photo i was wondering if anyone had any solutions. I can play the music through the car but i aint sure about the video's and photo.
Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems. I am from england and had to get mine imported however there are some americans on here and they already have theirs.

yes i have a jvc avx1. Hey mikey, thanks for the nav interface you sent me. need to give you a ring sometime cause after the voice stops it does not cut to the radio or it cuts to the radio then back to silence etc.

I don't believe there is any capacity on the PSP to do video out, unless you had a developer unit. Adding video out to a handheld would pretty much just make it a full-fledged home console (ala. PS2).

Audio out is simple (and you've already figured out (headphone to AUX with a simple patch cable).

Seeing as UMD has (quote surprisingly) taken off as a portable movie format, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony released a UMD specific movie player for this kind of purpoe.

hey GeoffMM,

im thinking of getting the JVC headunit with the built-in 3" screen....not sure if/how i can hook up the psp to that...anyway....have you got the 2.0 software update? I just downloaded it and its totally awesome......its got internet browsing and allows you to change the wallpaper...

no AV out on the PSP.... shame really. but then why do u need one? its got such a nice little screen on it...

lots of car kits tho for mounting and charging on the market tho...
