Hello,need some advice,I know very little about various sat nav systems,but I would like the following
Handheld and incar system with mains plus car charger up to date UK and Europe maps,is there one system that will allow me to do both,or if more than one any recommendations many thanks in advance

If it's any help I have recently got the Navman 510 and I am very pleased with it. One down side, the in car charger is a bit of a nightmare as it is really tricky to fit in the ciggy lighter. But if you are having it plumbed in you will be ok!

the new tomtom go 700 comes pre-loaded with maps of the uk & the whole of western europe. the 500 has the uk & just the major roads in western europe
