Offline | TOMTOM Navigator 5 / Treo 650 I'm thinking about getting a tomtom Navigator 5 to use with my Treo 650 and MCSa. Does anyone use tomtom Navigator 5 as their navigation system? Thanks |

Offline | Thanks for the pictures and input. I'm going to go for it. It seems to be the most versatile option for me. Still counting the days till my MINI arrives, but I seem to be ahead of the curve. I'm moving on to Satellite Radio options. |

Offline | How did the Tomtom software work out on the Treo, Silver Bullet? I'm looking at getting the Tomtom software for my Treo, which I currently play MP3's on through my HK stereo. Am wondering what kind of mounting is best? Do you need a separate charging cable for the bluetooth unit and the Treo? Thanks! -James. |

Offline | I am loving the tomtom software. my only problem with the GPS is that sometimes my treo can't find the signal and then I'm screwed. I sometimes turn the treo bluetooth on and off and wait and that seems to work, but it's an inconsistant fix. But when it works, it's incredible. As far as mounting goes. I either pop it in the large cup holder that came with my MINI or slip it in the small beverage holder below the toggle switches. As long as I can hear the device, I'm okay. I did buy a program called Volume Care to boost the Treo's output volume and it helps a lot. And I have never had a problem running out of GPS power. Remember that, on long trips, you can always plug the GPS into the power outlet in the boot and the Treo in the lighter upfront. I have seen online, however, that you can buy splitters to accomidate 2 devices in the lighter hole. Hope this helps. |
