Offline | You need to do a quick search for this type of question as you will find loads of info. The stock size is 5.25" but it is just as easy to replace with a 6.5" speaker. It's very easy to fit and use the stock wiring in the door to connect to the crossover. The newministuff web site is a good source of advice and info. ![]() Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs |

Offline | please note that when replacing the front speakers, you need to do some work as you need to buy or create a spacer to lift the speaker about 3/4 of an inch or more out towards the passenger compartment.....I made spacers myself as there were no spacers I could find to buy....now I hear that out your way there is miketthemini of newmimistuff that has manufactured them also, the stock HU is pretty weak so you need to chose a speaker that is very very efficient...or replace the HU at the same time with a more powerful one Last edited by umberto : Sep 7th, 2005 at 09:44 PM. |
