Offline | Ah the Jooglemobile has been spotted!!!! Thought I saw someone do a double take at the lights ![]() Plasters are an ongoing joke with my local club - every show it goes to it gets stonechipped on the way - so the first time it happened they put plasters over the marks and its become a bit of an ongoing tradition....... Its overdue to get a bonnet respray but im waiting to hear about the warranty repair for the bumper paintwork - will be getting both done at the same time ![]() Roof numbers on the GP are on the drivers side only unless the owners added a passenger side one ![]() Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team..... |

Offline | lol! Yes that was me using the Crutches at the lights having a good look, I saw you coming and walked as quick as I could to the lights before you left hehe to try and spot the roof number. I changed my mind about crossing the road because I was watching where you were going and then went to take pictures of your GP and I was expecting you to come back and ask what I was doing. ![]() Are you local to Stafford by the way, because I have never seen a GP around there? ![]() ![]() The Orange Blob As My Avatar Is The Mascot Of JetAlliance Racing Called 'Carli'. |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | Link: eBay Motors: Mini : Mini Cooper S (item 150253925826 end time Jun-07-08 18:30:43 PDT) But my mistake, it is still listed with the salvage title. He just does a much better job of covering it. ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | Ok, Two orders of Business. 1st. I am the proud new owner of GP1984. I am located in Davis, CA 2nd. I was looking for a tricked out mini, and saw the salvage 0448 and fell in love with the GP. There was no way I was putting the money down for 0448 since it probably has been totaled twice. He emailed me the pictures of the second crash, which was curb rash all down the drivers side (left). On damages from this crash, he even had aftermarket rims on it then! He recently must have gotten the original rims (I am suprised they sent them to him since they knew the car was a salvage case). He is located within 25 minutes from me. If you guys needed me to get anymore information, I could dig it up for you, however I think its just a curiosity case at this point for you. My GP was originally purchased by a Mini mechanic in San Francisco, and 11,000 miles were put on it. Resold at a mini dealer in concord to me ($32,999). Came with a warranty up to 100,000 miles and I threw the ultimate service to 100,000 on there for good measure, to me its a super deal! |

| Loves the Fuzzy One | Congrats Don, I think you got a great deal! And welcome to MINI2!No need to snoop on GP 0448, it's just idle curiosity. One very big deal is that it's missing the GP intercooler, it has the one from a regular MCS. Most buyers aren't going to notice that. ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |
