====== Warning!!! Jc Works ======

Just thought id let ppl know, People who own MINI ones and fancy any John Cooper Works performance parts, please note that JCW will not fit the parts. Also if they are fitted by your Dealer or by yourself they will invalidate your warranty, period!!

Surely dealer fit is fine - is that why you wanted MINI UK's number? I know dealers can fit the stuff to coopers

Reason is that the kit has not been tested on a one, so if somethin goes wrong it time to get a loan and fix it urself!!! No TA!! Im gonna get the new sports exhaust thats commin out easier option.

So the superchip that you were going to get wasn't going to invalidate the warranty then

What about modifying the jets, does that invalidate warranty?

Sorry mate! Just annoyed with BMW!!
Any engine mod that is not OK'ed by BMW. And anythin that may affect the car ie: 19' wheels which could mess the arches and the steerin rack up etc

I thought that once the JCW kit gets approval from BMW fitting it won't invalidate the warranty

It's BMW - they haven't tested it. To be fair, it is a different ECU and so you can't expect them to honour it without testing. Besides, it's John COOPER Works, not John ONE Works
