Still Loosening it Up a Bit

I'm currently at about 3,100 miles on my GP and I'm getting anywhere from 21 MPG (worst case) to 24-25 MPG (general) to as much as 28 MPG (long highway stretches where I can't open it up). I love the supercharger whine (and all that goes with it) and the GP is meant to be driven!

26.5 mpg (running in) just past the 1,500 miles so hopefully I'll be able to get this figure down to the 22 mark soon

31.2 here 1600 miles mixed motoring and quite a while sat in jams over the last week or two

Instantaneous reading is occasionally 11 mpg though, and I did make 8 briefly before the rev limiter cut in the other evening , so I'm not pootling around so much

I've not reset anything on the computer since I picked it up, never do on any of my cars as I like to know the actual average of everything.

31.2 here as well, 600 miles on the clock mixed cycle driving.

Its a very difficult job and the only way to get through it is we all work together as a team.....

GPMINI has mpg figures more like Jim Ray than Fabio ...
GBMINI (MINI Cooper) weblog: The economical GP

The OBC figure wanders from around 28 in "town" to 31 on highway runs - I've normally got 350+ miles from a tank, and a few 400+ ranges!
