Thumbs up Turn up the Bass - under seat woofer for GP's

For those with the GP who want a bit more depth to their music, I now have under seat active woofers. I will make these available as packages both for the factory boost stereo & aftermarket. The factory version will include a loom so no cutting/spicing of the factory wiring is required
The unit has a built in 120w amp, 17cm woofer in a ported enclosure,
You could even fit 2 - one under each seat
It comes with a small remote unit so you can set the level

That would be nice to have. How much does one of the setups weigh?

Nice - well done Mikey
If I get the factory compatible one, presumably it will also work aftermarket?

You & I definitely need to talk $$$!

Could you do this on a boost headunit, Cooper S (2005) too?

Thanks

Will do some package prices in the morning. Should be around £149 inc vat
Ian the same unit will work with Factory or aftermarket - I will just be offering it bundled with the leads for either option.

5.8kg = 13lb

Mike,
What about the 12V supply for them - do you need to run wires back to the battery in the trunk? At 10A+ per unit, that seems too much to pull through the cars stereo wiring loom

12 volts I would run to the battery - easy on a GP or S as its only in the boot

Tested one of these today in my S with the standard boost stereo.
Makes a great difference.
The controller lets you select the cut off frequency, phase & level. It could be mounted on show or set then hidden

Its all clarion - with a custom loom from me
Now on sale
NewMINIStuff.com
We offer a full fitting service
If fitting yourself - the carpet under the seat must be cut to the size of the unit, then remove the polystyrene insert & stick the subwoofer to the floor. You must get it central between the seat runners
The custom loom will plug directly into your boost stereo.
2 other wires remain - an earth to the earth point in the sill, a live to the battery in the boot - easy to run in
