For any future GP owners, the DVLA website has the reg GP07 JCW for sale for the bargain price of £399 inc all fees. After issue the cheapest JCW plate is around £600 to £700. All other GP** JCW plates are sold,so get it while you can.

Aren't all GP models now sold? All on 06 and 56 plates, registered in 2006. Therefore an 07 plate wouldn't be feasible and would be a pointless purchase?

They are all sold but if someone has not taken delivery yet or registered it yet it could be ok. Also all plates with JCW on are £799 and above so even for a future JCW owner now is the time to buy.

Think I got the best of the GP** MCS plates tbh!!!!

Also all the GP's were made in '06 so a little pointless having 07 on it!

Dont think so as it was to signal the end of the JCW factory and its gone now so they can't have another one.

Its illegal to have an 07 plate on a car that is registered in 06. So wouldn't work for a GP.

And its going to be several years before any such car would appear so it would be a bit of a gamble. But guess it would still suit the current GP!

Anyway, an R56 GP couldnt be lightweight, the cars bigger than the current model!
