Interested in buying one of the John Cooper Works metal badges. Could not find a price for one on their website. Any help?

Apparently they cost £2,000 - come with a free Works conversion...

Sorry, but as far as I know, that's the only official way you can get them..

And I think that's the way it should be.

It would be foolish of JCW to make perhaps a £5 profit by selling a badge to anyone who wants one while eroding the value of what the badge is actually made to identify (i.e. an anthuentic JCW converted car).

Yes, there is a ton of John Cooper signature stuff for the classic Mini - all with the great man's blessing. Interior fittings, badges, stripes, signature items, even frisbees, jackets and umbrellas (and a beautiflu MotoLita steering wheel with JC signature that I would love for my '65 Mini). Most of it is sold through the John Cooper Garages (former name), but there is a bunch of counterfeit/imitation stuff out there too.

I think the difference is that the new JCW badging is purposely (and I think wisely) being restricted to use only on converted cars.

I have some of the classic Cooper S badge inserts if anyone is interested (the red enamel badges that say 'Cooper' in silver that fit into the late rover badges)

the MINI has gone...
