England Brake upgrade

After nearly 11,000 miles I've decided that I will upgrade the brakes this year.
1st, has anyone been able to make the brake ducts functional?
2nd, could you please give your opinions as too various companies brake upgrade kits.
Some of the ones I've seen are AP Racing, Stoptech, TSW.
Thanks, Gary

Why do you think a complete upgrade is needed ?
I'm also interested in making the brake ducts functional.

If you are going aftermarket, then I would recommend Stoptech, but don't use the regular pads included in the kit. They are for street use only.
I had Stoptech with Carbopad fitted on my BMW Z4 (front and rear).
Good performace on the race track together with upgraded brake fluid and brake hoses.
Keep in mind, the one pot BMW OEM brakes aren't that shabby so unless frequently bringing the car to the track expensive aftermarket BBK are not worth the money IMO.

Doesn't fit the GP according to John Cooper Motorsport.
They are selling this kit too.

I also checked with John Cooper Motorsport about a month ago in terms of what they had available for the GP in terms of brake upgrade, Braided hoses, vent kit etc.

The answer was nothing - check with your Mini dealer !!!
