So the GP arrived today. Pretty similar to the Cooper S we traded against it.

But the cooper had xenons, they were not auto lights. Today when I put the lights on (two clicks forward on the control stalk) they came on but went off when I turned the ignition off.

So are they a) auto lights or b) daytime running so they will be on all the time?

They just go off when you switch the ignition off, the auto headlight option is one click down on the stalk. Don't think this is on the GP though

Cheers, the manual didn't explain it very well.
