| MINI2 Regular | I have been running an 2005 MCS JCW (dealer installed) for the past 40,000 miles and the only issue I have experienced is the ocasional pain in the face muscles from excessive grinning! Its like driving around with a coat hanger in your mouth. Enjoy... |

| Cruising In The Minge | andi i have been running the JCW on my R53 for the last 3 years. Our summers are stinking hot and never had a problem with overheating. Last run we did the temp hit 45.5C at one stage and not the slightest hint of overheating, thats also with 4 OEM spotlights on the front supposedly restricting the airflow too! ![]() 2002 PS/PS JCW MC 1970 BRG/W MK2 Morris Cooper S |

| Stand Free | It does feel a bit slower in the heat, but all S's are affected by this. 40,000 miles on mine and no overheating issues, well not on the engine anyway. Brakes and tyres, that's a different story ![]() Statistics are like mini-skirts, they give you a lot of ideas but hide whats important |

Offline | Think you'll find there's slightly less power in the Summer only when the air conditioning is on "cold" with the fan blowing. Least, that's what I and several others have found. "I get by with a little help from my friends" |

| MINI2 Regular | Actually the loss in power, in hot weather, is due to the less dense air hitting the supercharger. murmini - MINI Cooper Blog : MCS more fun in the cold weather |
