My radio receives power but it does not have any sound. Anybody have any ideas. Checked the fuses they are working.

is there sound from your cd ?

have you checked all the settings, ie volume controls, etc ?

if so it could be a faulty volume control, detached wire to unit, etc

have you been poking about behind dash ?

The head unit display is normal, track number, radio station etc. There is even a sense that power is going to the speakers, but no sound no matter what the radio is set at-radio cd ipod. No poking around, might think that it is water related because we have had a few days now of constant rain.

Turns out that the cars battery had a bad cell or two, funny how that ended up affecting the car, but since replacing the battery all is well.
