DIY ITG replacement JCW filter only £41

Hello, we are a new company supplying parts for the new BMW mini. In a resent telephone conversation with the parts department at Elms BMW MINI (Bedford) I was quoted £70.50 for a bogg standard replacement filter for the JCW airbox. Currently we have the whole range of ITG filters in stock. We sell the replacement ITG filter's for £41 (including vat) next day delivery is £6 (including vat). Our website is soon to be up and running and a link will appear in the directory section of this site, in the mean time if you wish to order anything please contact us on 01234 343000. (Please look at the pics I've attached)

Sorry to start another thread about JCW replacement filters, debdingo thread was very informative and I didn't want ruin it.

Regards Leo

Damn your a week too late lol! But No worries mate!

I can definatley recommend this filter for your JCW Airbox. easy to fit and the actual fit is PERFECT! (even a little triangular slot in the top for the clamp)

And to be fair I thought I got a good deal! (£58 Delivered from the states) but this... £47 delivered is a steal! you would be a fool not to!

How does it seal around the mounting ring as a matter of interest?

It slides over it VERY snugly to say the least! I would say it fitted BETTER than the OEM version.

DIY

It is able to seal around the mating ring by clipping over it. It is impossible for the ITG filters to move or unclip because there is a rectangular indentation at the end of the filter where the OEM plastic bracket inserts, then it screws into the underside of the filter box with a philips screw. I've added a link to Nebdingo's wonderful post regarding the install of the ITG JCW filter which highlights the above perfectly.
