R53 Kit Price

Now that the new R56 kit is out, is the R53 one any cheaper or is it still £3500 fitted?

still the same! and currently a kit would be on back order so you need to wait about a month. you can try for 10% off the parts though

You can get it cheaper than that, I paid £3000 on my last MCS, and the R56 wasn't even out then.

Shop around, try Woodmans

I didn't mean it

Now thats quite a saving. I don't mind about the wait as im in no rush. Have heard good things about Woodmans. Although its a 250 mile round trip from mine, they appear to be worth it.

I might consider taking mine over from Northern Ireland, might work out cheaper.

You could try Tony Franks at

MINI Motorsport Centre

and maybe go for the 225 conversion instead of the 210.

Invalidates warranty and TLC.

Contacted Tony few of months back and he was around £3800, but he might have came down in price.

Yea I don't want to invalidate the warrenty or TLC although there isn't that much warrenty left (7month). I recon an official upgrade will be better when selling on too.

I didn't get mine done at Woodmans for that price, but they will be the best price in todays market, and well worth the journey, I still travel up there from Andover to have certain things done and to buy MINI's
