Offline | jcw certificate hi, i own a 53 mcs jcw 210 conversion, bought s/hand from a local garage,when i bought the vehice i never recieved the engine con/certificate,i have tried the dealers in the service book, they only list the servive or work done in their workshop, is there a "works "register where i coud get a copy ? . thanks steve |

Offline | Hi All, I need to join the gang. I bought a 52 Cooper S last week with the after market JCW upgrade which was carried out in 2005. I have got a receipt from the prevous owner for tyhe upgrade from Barham Wolves Mini in Wolverhampton, I have contacted them by email sending a scanned copy of the receipt and quoting the number on the supercharger block asking for a replacement certificate. They have passed this to their "spares " ? department but I have yet to receive a reply. I will keep you all posted. Love this car. Its on a different planet to my previous R50 Cooper . ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Newbie | Contacted the original dealer that the car was bought from new yesterday (Sytner Solihull). Gave them the Vin number and JCW kit number. They told me that there shouldn't be a problem getting a replacement. They have contacted Mini on my behalf to get this sorted out! David |

| MINI2 Newbie | Maxdude, Found the original dealer from my service manual, emailed them to say that they had originally sold the car from new and that it was now missing it's JCW certificate thanks to the previous owner. Simply asked them what I could do about getting a replacement. I quoted the VIN number, JCW number and the cars Reg number. Made it clear that I didnt know if they had fitted the kit or when it was fitted. Think they looked up the VIN number and could tell me exactly when it had been fitted and how many miles the car had done. They said that they would have to contact Mini in Germany to order a new one and that it shouldn't be a problem. Got an email the next day to say that it had been ordered and that I would get it within 10-14 days. I would maybe try phoning or emailing another dealer, maybe even hassle them by letting them know that I have succeeded in getting a replacement!! | MINI2 Newbie | I also emailed Mini customer service at the same time, so I dont know if this had helped at all. Maybe worth a try!! When contacting the dealer, try emailing them instead of phoning. I find that I get fobbed off far too easily on the phone! Happy hunting!! |

| MINI2 Regular | Thanks Dave.....I have done all this...sent letter and email with all details as you did. Got a phone call back saying they didn't think it was possible to get a replacement. Said they would check with parts department and get back to me If they could get one but I never heard again. I may try writing to them again quoting your success and they need to contact Mini Germany...any other details you have just let me know... ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I could scan you a high quality copy and then remove all the numbers so you can enter them yourself. You could try woodmans mini to see if chris can help with that, solihull converted mine and have been very good since I purchased the car off them |
