In this project we have taken a genuine OEM Mini reverse camera which fits in the boot handle & modified its wiring so that it links into one of our motorised screens & auto switches when reverse gear is selected

Very subtle mod on the handle

It is great, it was part of a much larger range of ICE that Mikey Installed last Friday.

You are correct on both counts - this one is #0881 made in June / July 2006

However I managed to find it brand new, unregistered, in Sweden and have imported it into the UK - It will eventually move to Italy with me in a few weeks. It is LHD of course, my RHD will be staying here In the UK for when we are back here visiting.

Honest - it is true, Take a look in the GP forum.

There was also a brand new GP available in Italy at a MINI dealer in February

Trust me I know it is April first. The car was shipped to UK on a trailer behind my Volvo on 19th January and then had to have some things done to get the mutual recognition certificate from VCA - hence the delay in registration until March.

Swedish list minus Swedish tax at 25% then I pay UK VAT at 17.5% on my Swedish purchase price.
Car was originally for sale in Demark at the equivalent of circa £66 K - so no suprise that it did not sell. Car moved to Sweden and then Fredrik from Stockholm found out about it and after a few PMs with him and KP Kalle I went to the dealer in Helsingborg and did the deal. The rest is history.
