Don't know if you've seen these but I found them on the Mini World website.

BMW Mini Cooper S Works going up the hillclimb during Brooklands Mini Festival on 30 March 2003.

You were not lying when you said short were you!

Seemed to me he bottled it a bit towards the top? Unless it was a race to the cones and not the two guys at the top?

Must have been to the cones..............with the 'yump' at the top, if he didn't back off, I'd say he would have been launched !

Yup - I was airbourne on the first MK lunchtime run

. Guess it's OK when u expect it, bit scarey when you're just trying to make up ground!

A few hours on the PS2 Italian Job game gives you a fair idea of what Paul's runs are like.

Wouldn't have caught me finishing the hill climb like that, I'd definitely want to see if I could make the jump over that brick house at the top! Little twist at the end, might manage it!

Couple of nice videos. I still say the Works S is way too quiet. Nothing like my Cooper Works.

Here is another veiw from the outside

If they did not back of at the top they wuold have been about 4ft in the air and not made the tight right hand turn immediately at the top

Would have been interesting though

Lots of jeering though from some of the mini crowd.
