just out of curiosity who has put down an order for the JCG Works cooper S.

I know of one other person from MINI2, but there are around 30+ orders, so I would imagine there must be a number of others who frequent this board that have put down there money?

no not yet but including various optional extras expect it to creep towards £18/19k at least

Yep, that would be you. Looks like delivery might now be the back end of September, I'm trying to plan my Holiday around this

In terms of cost, I would have though £3000 - £3500 on top of the S would be a good guess ? Well thats what I'm budgeting on.

Hopefully more info on the Works S should come out around May

Not as bad as I thought.

I phoned MINI insurance, who quote for the "works" cars. With 2 years NCB and being 26 years young, they quoted me just over £900, which I didn't think was to bad, thats also living just outside London.

I think Richard (JCG) has a list of insurance companys that are aware of the works cars.

I will see nearer the time

£1568 40% introductory no claims, fully comp on the road in South London

and 31 years old

Still curious as to numbers one and two

I guess if the first four cars are ready at the same time, we will find out ?

I've nailed it down to a choice of Three:

1) Dark silver all over
2) Dark silver with white roof
3) Black all over.

Probably go with the first choice though.

Also add the chilli pack and aircon cd boost ( if they don't come the the chilli pack )

Have you any ideas on colour and specs ?

I have to agree I think number 1 will be Mike Coopers
