John Cooper Works DME Update

My car has had its first service this morning and the Guys at the dealer picked up on the fact that they thought it was not running as quick as it should be ( ).

They have installed the latest DME update from John Cooper Garages and now think its fixed and running as it should be.

I havent driven the car as the wife has taken the car in....

Can anyone tell me what a DME update is............

Thanks for the response, it seems the dealers get an updated DME so often and mines had the latest fitted
