JCW Update for 2004 Works MCS

I have a 2004 JCW MCS which I've owned for just over a year and 10,000 miles. Today, I had it in for its scheduled service and decided to go a little crazy and have the JCW update done. It added a new air intake and new injectors and updated the car's software. At $860US out the door, it was an expensive upgrade to an expenisve upgrade and I had tons of buyer's remorse in the dealership's waiting room...that was until I got the car back. The difference is pretty amazing - it added a bunch of power in the 1000-4000 RPM range. The standard JCW kit was a screamer over 4000 RPM, but it took a while to get there. Now, the car wants to bolt from the time you let your foot off the clutch. It has tons of power throughout the rev range. The update actually makes it a more drivable car because the added power is where I do most of my driving (unfortunately). And, the sound of the engine has changed a bit for the better - there's something in there adding a nice whistle to the already sweet sounding supercharger. Go MINI go!
