Offline | John Cooper badges for side vents? Anyone know if you can get the John Cooper badges for the side vents when you have some upgrades from them or do you have to have the full conversion? |

| MINI2 Senior | I've just had to take my MC in for a replacement runflat - re-mortgaged the house first! While it was there they put a new steering column in (clicking problem), a new seat back (Passenger seat kept sticking), and changed the handbrake fittings after the end came loose. The service guys were fine about my JCW filter. Though I didn't ask them directly if there were issues with the warranty in relation to defects that could arise as a result of the filter itself. Also have to say that their service has been second to none so far. They have been friendly, honest and efficient. They washed and waxed my car and gave it a full valet before handing back the keys which I have to say is above any levels of expectation I have, based on past experiences with dealers for other manufacturers. So thank you Fawdingtons of Newcastle. Stop ruddy rainin cos the 2nd Cam needs a thrashin ! |

| MINI2 Master | Complete amateur fits air filter kit... Well I've done it! Took about half an hour I suppose. I think its slightly more tricky than indicated in this thread so far, and also more nervewracking if, like me, a £14000 car is VERY expensive! It does sound fantastic though, and is well worth the time/effort involved, no doubt at all. Its crucial to separate the existing air filter box from its rubber tube so that you can then get at the awkardly positioned clip holding on the bottom of the rubber tube to the "engine". The task of removing the filter box from its air tube was tricky too... eventually got it. |
