Chris, help me understand? if you install the seat...its in a fix rail position? "foward setting or futherback"
so a person 5'1 and a person 6'3 could not share the drivers seat without major Labor to unscrew the seats??

I'm thinking about these seats, but I do let my husband drive the Mini

hes tall and I'm short

so I Wonder???

Thanks for the enquiry,
the Recaro's are on fixed rails,usually when people install them they put them on the lowerst setting at the back and slightly higher at the front,
there is only three high setting you really need to find a car wth them fitted and try them out first just incase

Thanks...I still do not understand

so can two people share the seat? I mean, is the slider adjustable? can I slide the whole seat closer to the steering wheel? because I have shorter legs?
And if someone with longer legs drive the car....can they slide the seat back ? I understand that the seat height is fixed...once adjusted..

You can still slide the seats forward and backwards,the backrest incline is also adjusatable,
we have a car in the workshop today with a pair in,the lowest seiitng on the Recaro's is around the same as the lowest setting on a standard sports seat

I'm interested in The Recaro Leather JCW seats. I own a Factory 2011 John Cooper Works Hardtop. Ridiculously, We here in America we cannot purchase the Recaro's as an option. A friend recommended contacting you as you have the best deals available. The shipping would be to Newhall, California 91381. Please tell me you can help me out at the best possible price!!! The leather lounge seats are nice, sort of, but just don't cut it. I had recaros, standard, in my Audi S4 from the factory. the only seats listed for the 1st gen cars are the Sparco seats,
these are only available in black leather and delivery would be around 6 weeks as they are special order,
a pair of the seats work out at £3050.00 inc shipping and vat
(i would charge you the vat and you will need to claim it back your side0

Sad part about it is they were only £1000 for the lot if ordered new with the car factory fitted and they were heated too and they did the rear seats in the same trim as well.
Anyway with a JCW at least you can get there quick and get out before you get cramp, a bit like the E type Jag, that was the only reason they needed it to go 150mph too, apparently.
