Chris, I already have these brakes fitted to my new 57 clubman D and I was unsure if the space saver wheel will still fit over the rear calipers as i do not have run flats.
If not how can i get it to fit or what wheel could i use as a spare?

Cheers

Gaz

Hi Gaz,
Thanks for the enquiry, your can't buy a space saver rim for cars with the
Brembo brakes fitted so all you can do is either a compressor and a bottle of tyre weld, the only other option would be to carry a 17 inch crown spoke or flame spoke wheel anf tyre in the boot,
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

If this offer is still running, I would be interested and a friend of mine as well.
Please could you give me the total cost including shipping to France for 2 kits at the same address.

Thank you.

Chris I am puzzled Mind you that is not difficult.

The rear disc on the JCW retrofit is 280mm dia. The front disc on a clubman diesel is 280 mm
On an S the front is 294 mm I believe. The front caliper on both is bigger than the rear caliper or at least the same size, so if a space saver will fit on the front of an S or clubman diesel then why would it not fit on the rear of the JCW retrofit setup????

All it would mean is when you get a puncture on the front, you would have to transfer a rear to the front then fit the spacesaver to the rear. Unless of course there is a scientic reason why the spacesaver will not fit the rear.

I suspect the only real way is to physically try

Hi
You are spot on, the only reason they don't list a space saver for the works is the big front brakes and the centre exahust so you would need to swop and change wheels around if you picked up a puncture on the front,it would be a bit of work at the side of the road in the rain but not a problem,if you did go for the space saver wheel and tyre it would be £93.00 inc vat,
cheers
Chris
