Interested in a Janspeed manifold, is there any chance you will be updating your price now they are £389 inc vat from direct from Janspeed?

why would you not go through Janspeed then instead of making a business reduce its rates??

They support the Mini community, therefore us so why not give them the chance. Of course I'm not going to pay a £150 markup on top of the RRP when push comes to shove but it doesn't hurt to ask

Hello Richard,

The price you have from Janspeed is out of date. The retail price is now £540 inc.vat, our price is aligned to this. Within this price we include replacement oem gaskets so you don't have to to take a trip to your local dealer if fitting yourself.

Thanks Nick. After speaking with Janspeed and they confirmed the price to be £389 at the moment and have ordered one at that price to be safe. Gaskets are only a couple of quid and not too much hassle to get.

Any reason why Janspeed are putting the price up? Have materials gone up that much? Seems unlikely but it's hard to see how something can jump 40% in rrp without justification. A lot of money for something that shouldn't really be more than £400-500 being that they have been out for a while now.

It wouldn't matter so much but it seems to be the best out there at the mo.

Have you confronted them about the increase? Seems unfair that you have to pass their extra cost onto your customers.

We were told one thing and it does not seem to be the case. I will try and chase them up on Monday, to see what's going on.

i also have been looking at other prices just been on the janspeed website i even thought because it was 389 it was without the sports cat? i want both so if its 389 im up for that! in Modern mini mag first page Vecchio selling them at £379

What did they tell you? I just called them directly thats all. It's the RRP not a cost price or anything.

My Manifold and Cat arrived this afternoon. Would be interesting to know what the issues are... As I was told (incl Batou) the price I paid was RRP...
