Removing wax stains from the black plastic trim

I did a search yet suspect that I'm not the only person with wax stains on their black body trim - around the wheel wells, for example. I have a 2005 MCS HBB/B.

What's your recommendation for a product that will restore the trim back to BLACK but yet will NOT result in long term staining of the trim; i.e., you end up having to put the black "restorer" stuff (like Armor All) on all the time to maintain that nice dark shade. I'd rather not use Armor All - I just want to get rid of the WAX STAINS.

Thanks all,

Dave

PS - I LOVE my MINI! Best car I've ever driven.

You elected him, you deserve him.

Last time I waxed my car I put masking tape over all the plastic bits. Whilst it was a pain on the whole it did the trick.
