Offline | First service question - am expecting 'are you dumb' replies I know I should just phone the dealer and ask (and I will). My Cooper was a year old in Deptember and I've only done 5000 miles (I am a fair weather driver). So it's not ready for the oil change thingy service but will they give it a year old service? And, as some may remember, I have to sell her early next year as we are emigrating (and it's yoo damn expensive to import to Australia). So I want the paperwork to be in good order to sell her. Thanks for your patience. ![]() on the road to Mandalay in my BEP Cooper |

| "I'm kind of a big deal" | When you turn your ignition on, before your cars mileage is displayed on your speedo, the number you see is the number of miles to your next service/inspection. If you press your odometer reset button while this is still displayed, you'll be shown how many miles are left until your brake fluid change. (You'll get a little clock symbol when it's really close) |

Offline | Well, I would say 'welcome to M2', but you been around 2 years and only posted 7 replies.... Go to 'User Control Panel -> edit signature. You'll see a box come up. You can post a link to a picture in there. If you load a suitable picture into your gallery, it'll give you the link automatically that you can then cut and paste. There are size rules for the signature though. Welcome to M2 btw. |

| 01 | I called up my dealer as my car is now 5 years old and has only done 15000 miles, and it hasnt been in for a service in two years, i called up and said that my car would be out of tlc by the time the service counter counts down, and he actually told me that you need to have your car serviced at a minimum of 2 years anyway! So I got my free service, with an interval of only 5000 miles, but 2 years, Please dont let your car go unserviced for years. |
