Just ordered my new '06 MCS and it's due in January.
The dealer i chose is located 1000 miles from where i live and its the closest to me!!
Now... of course i will have to rely on the local workshop to maintain the car (or on my brother that's a mecanic on his spare time) so...

Is there a good technical manual on my MCS that you recommend? So far i saw books from Haynes - that i've not heard a great deal - BentleyPublishers - that only covers 2002, 2003 and 2004 models - and MossMini - that i never saw!!
I've also come across with a CD from http://www.datamanuals.net/bmwcomp.htm and i've also heard that BMW dealers sell a CD for $100...

So, what should i do? Who do i trust?

If you can get the CD from BMW and your shop will be using it, it is the one to go for. It is not intended for a DIY so they skip all the basic stuff but a trained mechanic or someone who is not a total rookie can get a lot out of it.
