heater dust

A fine gray dust is forever present in my car especiallly around the console. I think it must be coming from the heater vents. Is there way to stop this? It really keeps my car dirty.
I've searched and cannot find any threads on this. I've seen this dust in other MC's.

i find that when hovering the car get a brush and just dust off the air vents and all around the bezels etc this does the job for me but remember clean surfaces attract dust so it isnt gonna stay clean for long.

With all vents except one closed, try putting the heater on full, the fan to max, and open each vent in turn to allow the air to blast any debris out. Then switch between face vents, floor vents, and also in recirc mode to see if this makes a difference. I used to have to do this on my old Honda Civic to get the leaves out that got stuck in the system.
