Not new(radiator coolant), but...

just more info since I'd read a couple of opinions that differed enough to make it slightly confusing. Hope this is a bit clearer for us in America:

Radiator coolant(Mini cooper)...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Called Mini USA and asked about radiator coolant. Specifically what I could use after market. The response was a coolant that had neither phosphates or nitrates and was mixed 50/50 with water. That's it. Nothing more. End of story. Cool. :-) K.I.S.S. Gotta love it.

Didn't ask for the "S" sorry, but any major brand was okay as long it met the specs of no phosphates or nitrates and mixed 50/50. Peak, etc.

Thanks. I might be flushing my radiator soon. The service manuals said to use some sort of BMW fluid. You've confirmed what I suspected--you don't need anything that special.
