I would think that for topping up, any good DOT4 brake fluid would be perfectly
compatible. I like ATE Super Blue or it's yellow equivalent (ATE type 200), but
that might be overkill for topping off.
Depends how much topping off you do. Top off enough times and you're running a high percentage of a different fluid.
That and you also obviously have a problem that needs looking into
And what if he's running DOT 5.1? Yes they're compatible but you really don't want to mix them.
just fitted a jcw brake kit myself,and need to bleed brakes. just need to top master cylinder back up to its level. there are problems with the brakes!!!!!
i think i will go to mini and get some ome fluid.
