Mini Maintenance Check

I've just had a letter from Rydale saying that my Service is due. It isn't due for another 8400 miles, as the car has only done 14600 miles. The letter states that if my service is not due then I can have a maintenance check done for £35 to make sure everything is "ok".

Has anyone else had this done? I've booked my car in for Monday and was just wondering what the checks involved are.

For £35 I would expect a basic check. Fluids, tyres, brakes and visual inspection for other wear and damage.

Ask them for a list of what is inspected on the check. They should be able to provide you with a copy of the checklist they use.

What branch of Rydale do you refer to? My local is Rydale of Shrewsbury, just wondered if you had any experience with them?

I'm in between Rydale Central and Wolverhampton. Never dealt with Rydale Shrewsbury, but in general I haven't had any problems with any Rydale dealer.
