| Is the MINI Cooper S "easy" to Service Hi, My car is booked in for its last "free TLC" service. Approx 45K miles. If I decide not to go down the MINI extended TLC route should any independent garage be able to service the car? Does the garage need to have "special" training / tools ect to service a MINI Cooper S properly for MIN Inspection 1 or Inspection 2 ???? I assume the Oil change is straightforward. Anyone know of a good independent garage in Nottingham ? Thanks Perm   |

| Any garage can service it however unless they have the correct equipment they will not be able to read any error codes that have been logged since it's last service. The error codes could point to something that is starting to go wrong and could potentially prove costly if they are ignored or not read. The service readout can be reset from the speedo though. Details in FAQ section.  It was acceptable in the 80's |
