Hi...

Most chips are ok, unless theya re actually small dents, which obviously need a different approach.

I would go buy a touch up kit from MINI, they are about £7 from memory...

AND...I would buy Langka... which is an excellent technique that flattens the new paint you have placed in the chip. Notice I say in the chip? You are best to use a pin to place the paint in the chop and let langka level it. This is similar to one of the techniques that Chipsaway etc use.... and obviously charge a fair bit more.

http://www.langka.com/

Do a Google for suppliers.... I usually get mine from Frost...

Yupp just pop along to your dealer, I haven't yet seen anywhere else that sells the MINI touch ups and at least you will be getting a near paint match. I would advise you do touch the chip up ASAP as it will go rusty eventually.

Cheers

welcome to MINI2 :0

they work well and the CR is a perfect match so assume the other colours would be too. - you get 2 tubes for each colour - the colour and the clear coat.

Hi,
I had a go with the paint i got from my local dealer and its a perfect match, just a backbreaking job to dot all tat chips... i just went for the bigger ones! its best done with a toothpick or some sharp point to dot those tiny bits!
