Also does anyone know if there is an 'overdue' time on TLC servicing, like if its more than 2,000 miles over due they won't do it? Not sure but need to find out!

the 'overdue' time is 1000 miles

I bought my mini 2 months ago and altho I still had tlc valid till feb 07, (which I was planning to top up with xl anyway) .. my vouchers had all been used up (I kno, its my fault for not checking but I am crap like that) ..but as the sales man was so "ahem" er good.. I was led to believe I would still be covered for my service that was looming, even asking about the service before my purchase and told "its no problem, we know its coming up, just book the car in".. but, to my suprise when I rang to book it in, I found out I wasn't covered and it was approx £315 for the service or £300 for the xl!! ...

I am pleased to say that all was resolved quickly and peacefully and for once (or in my case more than twice!) BMW were very helpful and apologetic lol the dealership is still in one piece and I am a happy lady once again.... Long live my Mini!!!!!

Glad to hear you got it sorted, TLC XL will be worth the purchase, £300 for it is pretty good.

Just had the 2nd MOT done on mine, passed with flying colours, on to the next serivce 52 plate with 46K miles on

What services does the TLC XL actually cover?

I know there's an Inspection 2 due just after 50K, but presumably there is also an Oil Change before 80K as well. Does it also include the brakes?

Hi, I have just checked with my local mini dealer in sheffield, and they advise me not to go overdue for service by 500 to 600 miles b4 taking up the TLC xl. My mc is over 50k mileage mark already.

....and yes it does include an inspection 2, 1 oil change and 1 brake fluid change

I was told by Coopers Thames Ditton in Surrey that the 4 year coolant & 2 year brake fluid changes are extra (even with TLC) at 70 pounds each + vat. Guess i'll be diying or going to a local independant garage for them.
